Everything is easier with really good quality company portraits. Acquiring new customers, increasing sales, increasing the loyalty of colleagues, or simply making a good impression on others. However, it is not easy to take such pictures, and most of the time you really need professional help. But a good photographer is not everything in itself, I also need you to get the most out of you!
If you decided to have professional photos taken of yourself, you must have already had a million questions about corporate photography . What should we wear? What should we do with our hair? Should we shave? Shall we put on make-up? If so, how much?
These questions are formulated in everyone's mind, and we usually discuss them when we make an appointment. But to make sure that no preparations are left out on your part, in the following post we have summarized what you can do yourself to make sure that the pictures turn out as well as possible.

How to prepare for the corporate portrait photography:
As much as possible, rest yourself before it! Everyone can be in the best possible shape if they have had enough rest. So, if possible, don't organize the photo shoot for the day after the company party, as another program, because most of the brigade will probably look pretty worn out. It's true that you can wear make-up, but it doesn't make everything go away - believe me, you can see whether someone is rested or not.
Everyone should bring more clothes and the clothes should be clean! We will help you choose the most advantageous of the clothes. Since it will be a company photo shoot , a slightly more formal look is ideal, and if you have some uniform clothing (for example, a shirt or blouse with the company logo), we recommend wearing it, but pictures can also be taken in completely neutral pieces. The safest thing to do is if you agree on this with the business owners themselves or with the center, which is what we usually recommend to everyone. There is nothing more unpleasant than when we take 60 portraits and it turns out afterwards that the decision-makers don't like the clothes the colleagues are wearing. We ask you to iron your clothes for the photo shoot , and make sure that the clothes don't wrinkle too much while you travel!
Recommended clothes
For men: elegant plain shirts (avoid bright colors if possible, use grey, white or black), thin jacket, tie optional
For women: blazers, prettier blouses, plain tops, tight sweaters
We have two options for make-up . The first is to do it for yourself. If you know how to apply make-up well, or if there is a skilled make-up artist in the company, then this is an absolutely feasible way. If not, don't be discouraged, we have a professional for this, who makes a very beneficial but natural makeup that looks good in all aspects of the photos. When it comes to nail polish, please avoid too bright colors and use natural (nude) shades instead.
Come to the photo shoot with freshly washed hair , and the girls should bring a comb with them. When it comes to hair, prepare as if you were coming to a job interview. Try to be in the best shape, of course don't push it too far. Do a hairstyle that has already worked, don't experiment now. Don't do hair you haven't tried before. It is best if you schedule it so that you go to your hairdresser shortly before the photo shoot.
If you dye your hair, make sure that it is not short on the day of the photo shoot !
Avoid new, untried tanning techniques , especially avoid tanning creams, and don't go to the solarium in the days before the photo shoot! 😊 There is nothing more unpleasant than when you arrive at a photo shoot red-faced.
In the case of men, a hairdresser is definitely recommended 2-3 days before the photo shoot . Once you have a photo shoot, it's worth specifying the method, because it is possible that your completed picture will be decorated on your website or on your Linkedin profile for years to come.
The next question for men is shaving. Well, the answer to this is very simple: let everyone be as they used to be . If you always show up at work with a freshly shaved face, you should do the same for photo shoots, but if you usually wear a beard or beard, don't change this habit now. Facial hair can be so decisive that some people are practically unrecognizable if they shave differently for a photo shoot than they do in everyday life.
Be sure to pay attention to the condition of your hands, your hands should be well-groomed and fresh . This is important because often, especially when we take image photos, the hands are usually visible in the photos.
All in all: add the best forms. Believe me, you will regret it if you prepared superficially for the company photo shoot . We know you have a lot to do, but this photo, with any luck, will be public for a long time on your company's website, so you should be in top shape.
